Camp Symbol

he meaning of the Indian Camp symbol was to signify an Indian village consisting of tepees. A tepee is a tent-like Native Indian house used by many of the Plains tribes

Tepees are constructed from wooden poles and animal skins, such as buffalo hides, and designed to be quickly set up and quickly dismantled. The Indian camp symbol can often be seen as picture writing describing the history of a camp or village.
